2002 Corvette

The Chevrolet Corvette is one of the best performance cars on the market today. We realize value may not be the first thing that people think about when looking at a $50,000 sticker. But this fifth-generation Corvette, called the C5, delivers a combination of acceleration and handling performance matched only by the Dodge Viper, Porsche 911 Carrera and various exotics, all of which are far more expensive.

2000 Corvette

Forty grand is alot of money to be spending on anything, but for a Chevrolet Corvette it might be worth it to some people. The 2000 Corvette was dubbed one of the best performance values that was on the market. It delivers a combination of acceleration and handling performance matched only by the Dodge Viper, Porsche 911 Carrera and various exotics, all of which are far more expensive.

1969 Baldwin-Motion Corvette

Baldwin-Motion is a popular name because it represents some potent dealer built supercars from the American muscle car era. In their day, companies such as Baldwin-Motion, Yenko and Shleby, were pushing the envelope far beyond where the major manufacturers were willing to go. Not many other companies even attempted a twin turbocharged 454, Baldwin-Motion did.

First Corvette

All of the 1953 Corvettes were first produced in Flint, Michigan, which is the Corvette birth place. All 1953 Corvettes were assembled by hand in that time and were near matches of the Motorama concept car. One noticeable difference was in the hash marks on the front fenders of the vehicles. On the Motorama car the hash pointed up, while the production car had it pointing down.
