The usual 2008 Corvette LS3 carries 436 horsepower and hits 60 mph in just over 4 seconds. Most people feel the 2008 Corvette is worthy of travel within the continental United States, but for the much-rumored Z07, we’d fly to Mars.
There have been many rumors about the vaunted Blue Devil Corvette for well over a year now, and when everyone saw that the 2008 Viper would have a domestic-best 600 HP, it was obvious that an even more powerful Corvette was as soon to come. And it seems that it’s completion is coming near the end.

While it is true most consumers who purchase the 2005 C6 won’t ever go the speed that it is capable of (at least not on the streets), but just knowing that their are capable of it is something to brag about. This latest generation ‘Vette weighs in at 67 pounds lighter than its predecessor at 3,179 pounds, but it doesn’t feel the least bit small. The new Corvette is 5 inches shorter and three-fifths of an inch narrower than the 2004 model. The new car has a 0.28 drag coefficient, making it the most aerodynamic one that they have built yet.

Forty grand is alot of money to be spending on anything, but for a Chevrolet Corvette it might be worth it to some people. The 2000 Corvette was dubbed one of the best performance values that was on the market. It delivers a combination of acceleration and handling performance matched only by the Dodge Viper, Porsche 911 Carrera and various exotics, all of which are far more expensive.

Baldwin-Motion is a popular name because it represents some potent dealer built supercars from the American muscle car era. In their day, companies such as Baldwin-Motion, Yenko and Shleby, were pushing the envelope far beyond where the major manufacturers were willing to go. Not many other companies even attempted a twin turbocharged 454, Baldwin-Motion did.

All of the 1953 Corvettes were first produced in Flint, Michigan, which is the Corvette birth place. All 1953 Corvettes were assembled by hand in that time and were near matches of the Motorama concept car. One noticeable difference was in the hash marks on the front fenders of the vehicles. On the Motorama car the hash pointed up, while the production car had it pointing down.
